Below are several suggestions for international theme events.

SPAIN

FLAMENCO DANCE & SONG
Consisting of well known flamenco dance and music, this show will give you a taste of the best of Spain with excitement and flair! Including 15 minutes of exciting flamenco malambo and a capela dance, the show will include a quartet of musicians backing up three dancers. Requires adequate lighting and minimum 20' x 20' dance floor.

SPANISH GYPSY FUTURE FORECASTERS
These readers are very good at telling a person about their future and their life just by speaking with them. Dressed in Spanish gypsy style costuming, they also utilize positive new age cards for fun in their forecasts.

NOUVEAU FLAMENCO GUITARIST
This background amplified guitarist performs a combination of nouveau flamenco and Spanish classical music, featuring such songs as "Malegena", "Romanza" and songs from artists like Ottmar Leibert. Flute, percussion and/or bass can be added for a brighter sound. Dress is black on black, tux or black and white with bolo tie.

IRELAND / SCOTLAND

BAGPIPERS
Whether it be one bagpiper or ten of them, celebrate the traditions of the Irish and Scots with style. Comes complete with kilt costume.

CROSSBOW
Crossbow is an exciting Celtic music trio that has performed throughout Arizona since 1985. Crossbow presents an enchanting performance that will be fondly remembered as full of energy, vitality, virtuosity and great humor. You'll hear the rousing reels, jigs and hornpipes that stir the blood. The songs range from the ever popular "Danny Boy" to more esoteric traditional ballads, embellished by an occasional tall tale, comic song and a bit of blarney. Instrumentation includes fiddle/mandolin/guitar, bagpipes, vocals, bass/piano/cello, with a touch of Irish drum, tinwhistle, hammered dulcimer and tenor banjo.

SOLO IRISH PERFORMER
This fiddler/guitarist can stroll and serenade your audience with Irish spirit, frolic and fun. Or he can come with PA if requested.

IRISH MAYHEM DUO
Consisting of keyboards, guitar, male & female vocals and sequencing, this traditional Irish duo has a wonderful sound for any St. Patty's celebration! Performing traditional Irish fare including "Danny Boy" and many others, they add fun and frolic, and also perform a variety of other music if requested. Dress includes traditional Irish costuming.

IRISH STEP DANCERS
This authentic group of Irish step dancers perform for all audiences on St. Patrick's day with a romp! Consisting of a minimum of 8 dancers of all ages (children to adults), this champion group performs a 20 minute exhibition that includes all of the traditional and special dances of Ireland along with costuming. The group requires a minimum space of 20' x 20' (preferably a dance floor or hard floor, not carpet), along with a 15' x15' waiting and dressing area close to the place where they are performing.

GREECE

GREEK BELLY DANCERS
Suggested for a 20-30 minute performance, these dancers are a terrific interlude for any event. Although belly dancers are used for Arabian themes, they were common entertainment in Greece also. Dancers perform to recorded music and are fully costumed. They also meet and greet as part of their performance.

GREEK MUSICIANS
Great music as guests arrive, they stroll during dinner, and can also back up belly dancers. Performing in full costume, this group is fun and great for the theme.

TOGA ACTORS AND WALKAROUND GIRLS
Hire a few actors to meet and greet, spar, guard or hand out amenities (like olive branch halos). Dressed in togas or traditional Greek costuming,.

GERMANY

OOMPA POLKA BAND
Consisting of the traditional German instruments including accordion, tuba or bass, drums and keyboards, this bouncy oompa band will make your bratwurst taste that much better. Dressed in full "leiderhausen" costuming, this group is delightful. Solo accordion to five pieces available.

GERMAN DANCERS
Add German dancers to your polka band for a little more fun and tradition.

THE ORIENT

ORIENTAL DUO
Although these performers are American, they are effective in any oriental theme. Consisting of a flutist and keyboard player utilizing the "koto" mode, the play a variety of oriental sounds and come costumed in Kimonos and Chinese hats.

KOTO PERFORMER
This Asian performer (note: availability is very limited on this unique item and pricing can vary. Please call our office if interested.) comes complete with authentic Koto instrument. A flutist can be added also.

SHAN & HIS TECHNICOLOR CANDY
One minute he's holding a gooey glop of hot corn syrup and sugar; the next after just a few deft twists of the wrist, he's got a hard candy ET. It's amezaiku, the ancient Japanese folk art of sculpting molten candy into detailed figures. Shan S. Ichiyanagi, a native of Japan, first saw the art on the streets of Japan as a young boy, and then learned from a master. He has brought this completely unique gift to Hollywood bashes, festivals and has sculpted at parties for Henry Winkler, Barbara Eden and Mayor Bradley. He has entertained for Royal Highness Sultan of Brunai and Prince Charles of England. This gifted artist can create about twelve to twenty pieces per hour for your guests.

CHINESE DRUMMERS
This troupe is a dramatic opener to any event. Consisting of both Anglo and oriental members, Chinese drumming is an ancient art.

FRANCE

CARICATURIST
Each caricaturist is able to draw between 12 and 20 caricatures per hour, and can also dress according to the French theme. Color or black and white caricatures are available, drawn on 8-1/2" x 11" or 11" x 14" sized paper. For larger groups of guests, it is recommended that several caricaturists be booked to accommodate them.

MIME
A mime is great entertainment for all ages. Mimes break the ice for early arrivals and meet and greet guests with performances of special illusions. For a French theme, the classic Poirot or traditional black and white character is available.

JAZZ TRIO
Sophisticated jazz is celebrated in France and all of Europe. This trio includes the classic guitar, bass and sax or flute sound. Dress is tweed jackets or tuxedo.

SOLO ACCORDIONIST
This strolling accordionist performs all your favorite French melodies.

INDIA

INDIAN SAX & PERCUSSION DUO
This authentic duo performs traditional music of India along with easy listening music of India. Both performers are from India and can perform in traditional costuming if requested.

MEET & GREETERS
Costumed in traditional clothing of India, these meet and greeters are from India and add to the flavor of the event.

ITALY

ITALIAN MUSICAL GROUPS
These performers will play a wide variety of famous Italian melodies, both romantic and traditional. Instrumentation includes accordion, guitar or mandolin and violin. Solo accordion to quintet available.
